Terms & Conditions
Â
1. Agreement & Acceptance
By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, or attending the Miami Salsa Cruise, you agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and every guest in your party. The Miami Salsa Cruise is a group event experience — salsa workshops, social parties, and group activities hosted by Miami Salsa Cruise. These events take place aboard a cruise operated by an independent third-party cruise line. What you are purchasing is a ticket to the Miami Salsa Cruise events only; it is not a cruise fare, cabin, stateroom, or travel package, and Miami Salsa Cruise is not a cruise line, travel agency, or seller of travel. You are responsible for separately booking and paying for your own cabin and travel with the cruise line (see Section 7). If you register on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring they read and accept these terms.
2. Payments, Deposits & Payment Plans
Your spot is confirmed only when the required payment is received. Where a deposit or payment plan is offered, the deposit reserves your spot. Deposits are non-refundable. Payment-plan and financing services offered by third parties (such as Afterpay or Klarna) are governed by those providers’ terms.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
All sales are final and non-refundable, including tickets, and add-ons, whether or not you sail. Because the Event is non-refundable, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
4. Changes, Postponement & Force Majeure
We may modify the Event’s schedule, activities, hosts, or itinerary at any time. If circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including weather, mechanical or vessel issues, illness or public-health events, acts of government, or actions of the cruise line — require the Event to be postponed, shortened, relocated, or canceled, we are not liable for any resulting costs you incur (such as airfare, hotel, transportation, or time off). Where reasonably possible we will offer a credit or rescheduled sailing; cash refunds are not guaranteed.
5. Cruise Line & Third-Party Providers
The Event takes place aboard a third-party cruise line that we do not own or control. Your voyage is additionally governed by that cruise line’s ticket contract, conditions of carriage, and onboard policies, which control all matters relating to the ship, sailing, and onboard services. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, overbooking, or conduct of the cruise line or any other third-party provider.
6. Travel Documents
A valid passport (or accepted travel document) is required to sail. You are solely responsible for meeting all boarding, identification, visa, and health-documentation requirements. We are not responsible if you are denied boarding or entry due to missing or invalid documents, and no refund will be issued in that event.
7. What Your Ticket Includes; Cabins Booked Separately
Your Miami Salsa Cruise ticket grants access to the workshops, group activities, and social events. It does not include, reserve, or guarantee a cabin or stateroom. You are solely responsible for booking your own cabin with the cruise line and for all cabin costs, as well as any onboard charges, gratuities, taxes, port fees, or incidentals billed by the cruise line. Where a group rate or booking link is available we will share it, but the cabin reservation and payment remain your responsibility.
8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
Participation in travel, dance, social events, and physical activity involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, or loss. You voluntarily assume all such risks and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, release Miami Salsa Cruise and its owners, staff, hosts, and contractors from any and all liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation, travel, or attendance. You represent that you are physically able to participate and have consulted a physician if any condition could affect your safe participation.
9. Code of Conduct & Removal
You agree to behave respectfully toward other guests, hosts, and the cruise line’s staff, and to follow all rules of the vessel. Harassment, violence, intoxication that endangers others, unsafe behavior, or disruption may result in removal from the Event or the ship, without refund and at your own expense (including any cost of return travel). Decisions rest with us and the cruise line.
10. Media Release
By attending, you grant Miami Salsa Cruise the irrevocable right to photograph, film, and record you, and to use your name, likeness, image, and voice in any media — including social media, websites, advertising, and promotional materials — without compensation, notice, or approval. This extends to guests in your party. If you do not wish to be recorded, notify us in writing in advance, and you remain responsible for staying out of the frame of any recording in progress.
11. Health & Safety
You agree to follow all health and safety requirements of Miami Salsa Cruise and the cruise line, including any vessel or government health rules. We may deny participation to anyone who poses a health or safety risk, without refund.
12. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase you agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal for any charge you authorized. Because the refund policy is disclosed and agreed to at checkout, a chargeback filed in violation of these terms is a breach of this agreement, and we reserve the right to cancel your registration, pursue the disputed amount plus fees through collections, and refuse future service. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us first.
13. Entire Agreement & Changes to Terms
These Terms, together with any policies and details disclosed at checkout or on the Event’s page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Miami Salsa Cruise regarding the Event. We may update these Terms at any time; continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
